Similar charges would result of up to.25 years without parole. After the case yesterday involving the stabbing, I'm guessing she'll get no time and a years parole.

Convictions for similar offences in Georgia have resulted in sentences of 25 years in prison without parole.

Presumably those were for male offenders, which has little to do with what kind of sentence she will receive if convicted. Previous cases have shown women often have to do a lot more than sexually assault even two boys to get more than a couple years in jail if not a suspended sentence

But who knows? Maybe this case will turn out to be surprising

Why is she teaching after the first case? She should've lost the ability to be alone in the same room as a child.

The comments under the article are very telling of how hypocritical a large number of people are when it comes to these situations. Especially this one:

It's wrong on her part but I suspect it's hardly awful on his. Cue all of the "if it was the other way around" comments now, which doesn't actually change my point though.

The guy is 18 years old now. If he's not interested in pressing charges then this case needs to be dropped. This is ridiculous.

Even though he was not a minor it was illegal because he was in her care

Unless they can show that he received better marks than he earned, this isn't worth considering. Nobody should be dragged through the legal system for this nonsense.
