Do not talk to anyone about this, not even the police. Get a lawyer and follow instructions. Make sure you tell your lawyer you don't want to take a plea deal for something you didn't do.

Normally this sub I noticed can be very lawyer happy (sorry guys) but in this instance they are 110% correct. A decent lawyer can solve this easily for you, a bad one or none can lead to a whole world of pain. Best of luck mate, shit like this really sucks.

Well your fault was getting tattoos and looking like a 'bad guy'. You dressed in 'bad guy' clothing.

As much as it is shit, you have to recognize that you'll be treated a certain way for how you choose to present yourself. Im not going to get a job looking like I rolled out of bed without showering or combing my hair and wearing a ratty T-shirt to an interview.

People judge based on appearances.
