Because gender warriors have one of two ways of being "read up on". You can either read about that person in a media platform sympathetic to their politics and hear about them invariably as a hero against the system or a victim of it -- or you can read about them from the other guys, and sift through the spurious trash talk trying to find something of substance.

The only way I can trust what I read is to read words written by Ms Ford herself - which... that's what the OP's article is. Her own damn words!

And I don't mean "stories that could be published anywhere but were in The Atlantic". I mean "some idiot just posted Breitbart."

I have never heard of this woman's name before, and I think I may have found her Twitter page? I have no idea. Feminist writer, says she has kids, very left-leaning, mentioned rape culture -- I think this might be the same one.

Now, I went about 4 or 5 days deep, because any more would just take too fucken long and I really don't want to know that much about a feminist contributor for the Washington Post. I was unable to find any particular tweet that stands out as being particularly deranged or abusive toward her children. If you know where those tweets are, link 'em. I'd be curious to see what it is you're referring to.

I'd also like to know if you have links to some of this buzz surrounding her children, because I've seen none of that thusfar either.

I'm going to assume that by "mutilate", you're referring to circumcision. A lot of women have circumcised their babies without hating men. Bad science and good science sound similar until you understand the difference between the two.

As for her "suggesting" to kill all men, I think the MRM is going at this with a hearty lack of nuance. Just as with the hashtag that inspired her, I doubt anyone who hashtagged "KillAllMen" ever wanted to commit and acts of murder. However, a university student and feminist activist by the name of Grace Mann was murdered by a male housemate shortly after the hashtag took on a life of its own. A blogger running "Feminism Is A Fraud" posted how more feminists would be subject to this retaliation unless feminists showed a little respect (which is funny considering the whole reason feminists are mad is due to an inherent lack of respect from men).

Is it because I asked you to show me an example of people calling for her to have her kids taken away? Because that was genuine. And I notice that you didn't provide any links, which doesn't help me at all. I asked you to provide links that demonstrated what you were asserting - that she was known for inflammatory comments, and that Twitter was up in arms, trying to get her kids taken away.
