Went to a restaurant that had no changing station in the men's room. Talked to the hostess, and she made sure the lady's room was clear for me to change my kid. No issues, and even a couple girls came in while I was changing, said "go Dad!", went to a stall and did their business and left. /shrug

It's stupid there's no changing station, but I doubt anyone would throw a fit for you changing your kid in the women's room.

This is why I like what Westfield have been doing here in Aus. They have "family" rooms. Most have a small play area, a series of change tables, parent and child toilets and nursing cubicles with comfortable chairs and curtains for privacy.

These signs never bothered me, if I needed to change my son I really couldn't of cared less which changing room it was, as long as it had a baby holder.

I do believe it's becoming far more common to see changing tables in men's restrooms. Most Walmart, Target, and Home Depot stores have had them for a very long time. We aren't there yet, but it's getting better. Part of what I face now though is that many men's restrooms are becoming unisex while still having a dedicated women's restroom. This causes issues in high traffic areas. More than once I've had my daughter pee herself while having to wait twice/triple the amount of time we normally would to get into a restroom as a result.
