What is the state of feminism/SJWism in high school today? Any current high school students have any insights?

I graduated in 2015 from a school in Duluth, MN (home of the Duluth Model). The school was always pretty left-leaning, but my last year there was when feminism and SJWism really started to take hold.

There was this one incident my last spring there where a girl claimed that she was sexually harassed by teachers for dressing out of code. The allegedly abusive teachers actually were said to have reminded her about the dress code, and gave her the choice of changing into more appropriate clothes already at the school or go home for the day. One third of the school thought the teachers and anyone who believed them were rapists, another third defended the teachers, and another third didn't care. I doubted that the teachers did anything wrong, and thought the SJWs were blowing everything way out of proportion, but I formally belonged to that final third, because I was a month from graduating and I had bigger fish to fry.

The feminist/SJW faction started wearing short shorts and sleeveless tees, deliberately breaking the dress code. All over their bare arms and legs they wrote "DISTRACTION" and "OBJECT" and such. Their shirts were bright yellow and custom-printed, denouncing the dress code. It was mostly girls who did this, but some boys got involved too.

The protest went viral, and the local news covered a huge after-school debate one day. The entire cafeteria was filled, one side calling for a moratorium on the dress code, the other supporting the accused teachers and backing the already casual code. I didn't get involved, but I stopped by after some after-school work. It was an absolute shitshow.

After a couple weeks of this, the SJW faction sort of cooled down. Nobody got into any trouble, and the dress code wasn't changed. It was as if nothing happened, and that really bugged me, because this tiff was all anyone, teachers and students, could focus on. Nothing got done; it was about two weeks down the drain. Plus, the girl who started it all left to a different school when things started to heat up. She threw the whole school into chaos, then couldn't face the music.

From what I've heard, feminism/SJWism is more prevalent at that school than ever. I'm glad I got out when I did.

TL;DR: girl falsely accuses teachers of sexual harassment, whole school becomes divided over dress code, nothing changes in the end.

My history teacher is a feminist. I'm a sophomore in HS, I used to hate when she would talk about the "wage gap" and her little statistics saying "a majority of men will rape someone in their lifetime. Whether it is HS, College when you're a senior citizen" -_-

It is pretty good in my school. The section of guys is very anti-feminism and SJWism, and there are only a few SJWs or feminists we know of. However, there is a women in science club which is very unnecessary. There are plenty of science-related courses in our school. Take one of those courses.

I got yelled at for being a white male and saying that we shouldn't divide people based on race or gender... Someone actually started saying "But you're a white male" on loop during the discussion.

It is fairly bad depending on where you are it would seem. In New England, very much social justice.

I'm a girl but the female teachers at my school are all really big feminists and most of the female students are too. It honestly almost looks like bullying sometimes listening to them talk about the guys in the school.

Graduated the same year as you. Had only one teacher that spurred any feminist SJW BS. Said white male guilt was a worthy position, I countered that it was the modern say equivalent of the white mans/civilized mans burden.

In my high school almost all the teachers are feminists, even more than the students. In my English class, our teacher had us read and discuss an article about male privilege. Also, my History teacher who was an outspoken feminist once did the classic "Oh, all of you guys believe in equality, right? Then you're all feminists!" shtick.

Highschool sophomore here. 15 years old.

Feminism is a pretty bad problem at my school. Read about one of my experiences here.

I'm one, if not of the only ones, that stand up to these issues. My school is made up of mostly Hispanic girls, therefore they believe they are "oppressed". Bunch of snotty white feminist girls also. Most female teachers are feminists, except for a few.

We got four factions that are currently in war over the summer. In debate class there was a huge fight, kinda divided everyone.

Ya got the feminists: crazy, annoying, all around just unaware of real social issues. Come from either poorer families of crazy rich families.

You have the "meme dudes", the guys that are anti-SJW/Feminist, but aren't fighting for the other side. A neutral faction of sorts.

Anti-faction: direct counter to the feminists. We are small but we are strong.

Egalitarians: mostly side with the feminists, but don't necessarily agree with everyone.

It's god awful. Even the libertarians are feminist. There are only a few people that think feminism isn't necessary, and a portion of those are literal outright misogynists. Most people are anti-circumcision so that's a plus I guess. But rape hysteria is alive and well, as well as the anti male double standards. I've been sexually assaulted by any reasonable standard (and someone literally told me "if you were a girl that would've been fucked up"). I live in a very liberal college town however so take this with a grain of salt. And of course there are a few sane people, thank god.

I was asked if I supported equal rights. I answered with a 'yes' but I clarified that I didn't want to call myself a feminist. Or else I was misogynistic according to this group of girls. Either be a feminist or a misogynist, it seemed. Same case with black lives matter, and I was labelled racist by a group of black girls when I told them I didn't support blm, and instead said 'all lives matter'. Needless to say I have a bad reputation now in school and even teachers seem to judge me because of this.

I graduate high school in 2015, I knew 3 "fun feminists" who were actually my friends( one even liked me) they mostly we're just uniformed about the wage gap, but all around nice girls. I also knew 2 sjw's one who cared about legitimate issues among the races like education ( plus she was the hottest girl in our graduating class and valedictorian), the only negative sjw experience IRL was because of a fat girl, who didn't like my fat lady joke.

Tl:DR: hot women can be coffee shop feminist but still ok, fat woman have a bone to pick with you.

Class of 2016, MR advocate since af least 2013 when i submitted a self made poster for the rally in toronto., when i became aware of it.

My high school in Nassau County, New York was pretty middle of the road, i got thestandard historical revisionism but a lotof my social atudies teachers were rather receptive whenever i brought up mens issue,although i did it sparingly. Partly because u didnt want to misrepresent the ideals others were fighting for and risk ruining potential red pillees, so to speak, but also because. I didnt want trouble for myself. Though many male peers in my classes seemed to appreciate my being able to articulate what some of them had been feeling also.

Things like the wage gap and 1 in5 were pushed in classrooms, generic feminist ammunition and talking points. We were forced to digest a lot of pro feminist literature through summer reading programs as well. Dont even get me started on the drama club, nauseating.

I did have a few trad con teachers from the older generation, which made sense since Nassau is a red county, but almost all of the newer teachers (40 and under) were bluepill.

This isnt even going into how they treated conflict on campus. (And off), but all and all i think my experience couldve been a lot worse, with the advent of common core im glad i got out right as they were implementing it, for various reasons.
