So if you haven't heard, popular Youtube feminist Laci Green has been talking about taking the "red pill". After she put out her initial video about a week ago I waited to see what would come after before deciding what I thought about it. Well she's made a second video and now I have some thoughts.

FIRST and foremost I want to note that I think Laci is insincere. She has a very long and self documented history of being one of the worst social justice warriors around. You may think she's just reaching out to the other side in some fake attempt at civility or whatever but I think her motivation is simple as well as desirable. She sees which way the wind is blowing and she's decided not to be a latecomer. On November 9th 2016 Laci put out a video titled TRUMPOCALYPSE, it's content was what you might expect. Aside from that she also put out several tweets during the election one of which reads "We are now under total Republican rule. Textbook fascism. Fuck you, white America. Fuck you, you racist, misogynist pieces of shit. G'night." So did Laci get redpilled in just a few months? No, she simply understands that the pendulum has shifted and the Right is back on the rise.

Now the second and probably more important point I want to make is that this is a GOOD THING. While she may be a wolf in sheep's clothing (please don't trust her) it is very important to allow her to do this and treat her, mostly, with kindness even though she probably doesn't deserve it. Why? Because this is how you win the culture war. Not everyone is going to agree with us you know. There will always be leftists and worse out there. But we need the Overton Window to shift not just so we can freely express ourselves but so our enemies fear expressing their own views. Some might think that's authoritarian or harsh or whatever but we are in the midst of a raging culture war and it is one I intend to win at all costs. Anyway, back on the point. Laci needs to be treated decently. We need to hear her out, give her time, and allow her to come to some "new understanding" about things she supposedly never knew before. Basically she needs an excuse to change her views and she is openly signaling to us her intentions here. All we need to do is talk to her and present arguments she's probably seen a thousand times before but this time she's going to come away agreeing instead of crying "RACIST! SEXIST! ISLAMAPHOBE!"

People don't like to be wrong but if you give them an excuse many people will change their positions if there is enough public pressure to do so. Laci had her world shattered on November 8th 2016 and since then she has seen changes around her. She knows that her side is hated and wont be in power for much longer and Laci is someone who desires to be popular and loved. She's not going to go full right wing extremist or anything but if we let her she WILL abandon her most extreme social justice views, at least in public. If you stop her from doing this you are signaling to the other side that there will be no mercy in this fight and that was their biggest mistake in this culture war of ours. Once they know they not only will they not stop fighting but they will fight harder than ever before. Don't make the Left's mistake. Accept surrender when it is offered and move on to fight more important battles.
