Tip's for picking a bar on the first date.

Here's my question's setup. If you were choosing to go to bar on the first date, and say it's not like you guys live right down the street from each other. Maybe 20-30 even 40 minutes away.

Would you pick a bar near her's, your crib, or in the middle? Which is the better option? I'm thinking less likely to flake at a bar near her, if she flakes though, you drove all that way lol. On the other hand, picking a place near you might give you a chance to get her back to your place, but more likely to flake.
