I don't know if any of you watch this show but there was a character in the latest episode who writes agry posts on a men's rights page on a site called "ReddiChan". The show depicted this MRA as bitter and angry that a female soldier has become an army ranger and this man became a suspect when this female ranger was raped.

While it turns out this fictional MRA did not commit the crime, I am shocked that the writers would depict us in such an inaccurate and nasty light. Most of us belive men disproportionately suffer and sacrifice in war and any woman who puts herself on the front line should be commended for going above and beyond what society expects of her gender (this woman did not receive any special treatment to reach her position either and had to pass same physical tests as men).

Any of you see this show and what are your thoughts? I feel that any mainstream media/ pop culture references to MRA depict us as a shadowy, dangerous fringe corner of the internet.
