Men's rights brothers, men's rights family, this question is of a personal nature. To each man out there listening, I appreciate you. Each man's perspective is valuable to me. Thanks in advance for answering. I feel lost after figuring out just how stacked the deck is against me. I once felt hopeful that I would find a woman who would appreciate me for who I am as a person and be willing to accept me sincerely with all the standard wedding vows "in good times and bad times, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health ... forsake all others" I've now come to believe that this goal is not available, that hypergamy is ingrained and it's more like, "accepted temporarily while the mating high lasts" with the threat of her attempting an upgrade always present.

Did you come to a point of disillusionment? When you did, did you change your strategy for building a life for yourself? Did you go MGTOW? Or did you study PUA and work to give yourself an edge? Or did you just stick to your search for a special someone, but fight back against the feminist hostility? Did you research protective measures like pre-nups?

Please respect all answers. Remember everyone here has come from different backgrounds and has different experiences, and yet we're united in a search for something better. In one of the men's rights videos I watched, it talked about how important it is to establish a brotherhood with other men who have been through the same injustices. To be honest, I haven't experienced any kind of brotherhood since I was in grade school. I'm feeling real bad, man. It's like being lost in the desert. We're you able to restore a sense of hope? Your experiences are valuable to others here.
