Legislation to clear prostitutes of criminal charges while shifting the blame to the nearest man

This is all part of the move by feminists to portray all female prostitutes as victims of male oppression rather than being criminals by re-labeling prostitutes as "human trafficking victims". There's a very long history of feminists racking up anti-male prejudices with moral panic stories about how young white women are in danger of "sexual slavery" (or "white slavery" as it was called 100 years ago).

By calling them victims the crimes they commit become the fault of the nearest man -- who must be their "slave owner" I suppose. So any criminal activity they commit is the fault of their pimp. Again this exactly mirrors old Victorian and even older laws dating back to the Roman empire where women were invisible ("femme couvert") to English law and that when a woman committed a crime or incurred a debt, her husband or father or other nearest male, was to be charged with that crime or had the obligation to pay the debt instead. This extreme female privilege was even used by early British feminists to protest their cause by sending their own husbands to prison by refusing to pay the taxes they (the feminists) owed.

“We have a moral obligation to protect survivors of trafficking who were arrested or convicted for offenses that they were forced to commit,”

This is pure bullshit of course because crimes generally require mens rea, an evil mind, and accidentally committing a crime, or being forced to commit a crime means you didn't commit that crime. the very fact that the prostitutes were convicted means that the legal system already determined that they were NOT forced by someone else to commit a crime. (Rape is something of an exception since if you don't intend to commit rape you can still be convicted of raping someone -- thanks feminists!).

Note that to qualify for this law the "victim" must explicitly sign on to the feminist ideology by claiming that they had "trauma associated with being a victim of trafficking". This is also a good way to weed out male prostitutes since nobody would believe a man was "traumatised" in this way.

I think you're off base here. This has everything to do with sex trafficking uses gender neutral language, and doesn't shift blame to anyone

Arent human trafficking victims like the girls who are shipped to the US by gangs and mafias in Asia and Eastern Europe to work as forced prostitutes?

A voluntary American prostitute wouldnt fall under this law because she wouldnt have any ties to trafficking.

I could continue but I made my point. These assholes don't give ashit about these women, they use them as pawns in gender warfare. This women deserve better. The men deserve better too. I'm tired of both sex workers and clients used as pawns and turned into charictures by idiotic dickheads,largely for their own profit. The rescue industry is big business.
