That needs to change. At some point in these proceedings, especially when a jury makes it plain that a man is not guilty of an alleged rape, the false accusers name must be made public. The idea that any party can wreak this kind of havoc and profit handsomely at the same time, while remaining anonymous is insanity.

Worse than one woman lying is a system that rewards such apparently criminal behavior and at least doesn't punish it.

These people basically try to use the justice system for a quick shakedown: they (think that they) have nothing to lose (filing for financial hardship to have their trial paid for them), while their target have much at stake, and have an incentive to settle quietly.

Now will the court judge the case presented, or will it push the bullshit and out-of-scope argument that actually prosecuting crooks has a chilling effect on real victims?
