Gotta start dressing like a Becky, go watch Stacy Dash in Clueless, etc. You will have more success if you come off as the guy's really tan girlfriend, without the problems associated with white girls, e.g., excessive entitlement, getting "white girl wasted", etc.

Also, be up front with white guys that you like that you prefer white men. It will help dispel assumption that you mention.

You're a niche person, like Asian men. Realize, it does mean you have to be on point and have game.
Men will be hyper sensitive to any masculine behavior form a black girl, I'm sure you're good at being feminine, just own it.

I've got tons of black women on my moms side of the family, they ALL have white husbands. All gentle enough men, no real Chads that I met. They didn't meet around the town though, they had to change location to a more white area.

Also, conservative areas are way better for you than liberal. They were all finding guys in Alberta, almost no one found their man from BC

i'm white and have a thing for black chicks, and im the only among my friends, so yeah the majority of white guys i know don't really like black chicks specially if they're really dark. For me the darker (with that blueish glow) they are the better.

With that being said, i don't think i would ever date/marry a black woman. Want to have kids that look like me.

Also, a huge turnoff, do not wear wigs. I rather bang a black woman with a good big affro than a bald one wearing a wig.

We all generally have a race we prefer. I'm Asian myself and tend to date Asian and white girls most frequently. The Asian girls I meet tend to prefer white dudes and the white girls I meet tend to prefer white dudes or have 0 preference and are all over the map.

Now, where this gets interesting for me, is that I meet a lot of black girls that like Asian dudes. This could be because I'm Asian myself but 3 out of 5 times, if I get hit on by a girl, it's a black girl. The rest of the time it's Asian girls.

I've always thought this was odd. I don't have a great grasp of female perspective outside of the basics, and understanding the AA subculture and its variations from that perspective is a bit beyond me. this becomes increasingly complex as you layer in local subcultures. Especially since I don't date many black girls despite having some opportunities. Having brought this up a few times in casual conversation the running theories seem to be: Asian dudes are submissive and Black girls like to be dominant. Black girls tend to be educated, Black dudes... not so much, and Asians tend to place a high value on education.

From what I understand of human psychology and decision making, that first one doesn't make a lot of sense. but that second one probably has merit. Still, I understand it's not the complete truth and at best it's only a fragment.

I bring this up because white dudes are going to have a set of preferences. you should figure out what those are relative to your own preferences. IE: if you like hipster white guys who like craft beer, have giant beards, and wear plaid: those guys have a general set of preferences and things they look for in a girl. Are you that girl?

The best advice I can give you here is: Act British. I don't know you. I dont' know how you act, talk, behave, etc. you've told me you're a young black girl in NYC with a poli-sci degree. which means you probably act entirely too (african) american. act like you're from across the pond and you'll be drowning in dick.

White dudes wouldn't know how to approach you because you both subscribe to two different cultures in most cases. Would you laugh at "this white boy" for thinking he could get with you? Honestly, after seeing the title of this thread and after reading through it, I wasn't expecting the discourse to remain so civil. Most women who come through here tend to antagonize the mob so-to-speak. The fact that this thread hasn't yet devolved, to me at least, speaks highly of the OP.

I guess I'm also surprised she doesn't come across as having that aggressive/nagging/proud attitude that I tend to associate with most black women. In any case, thanks for sharing your perspective.
