Talk to everyone, girls, guys, dogs. Everyone is your friend here. Smile.

Dress well, be stylish as fuck. Strong eye contact with everyone. Witty, social banter.

Chat up the future plate girl and establish some rapport. Light touching, fun playful conversation. Go talk to other women, then go back to her later in the night and see if she wants to 'go for a walk' or head home to chill.

Approach people and introduce yourself. Make light banter and build rapport.

The way you flirt with a woman is going to be different when it's just you and her vs. you and her in a public situation. It's context based. I think you're psyching yourself out though. Most people don't give a shit what anyone else is doing.

Create a frame, and live in that frame. Go in with a mentality of "Everyone at this party wants to talk to me because I'm a valuable man who has his shit together — I'm talking to people because they should experience my aura and presence."

Don't chew more than you can swallow. Be yourself, be honest, stick to your frame if you have one yet and enjoy the party. Learn from it, there's are alot of cringy stuff to experience. Do not drink too much, stay in control.

Don't worry about it it's just a party. Go there, make friends and have something to drink.

Confidence is key here try to look and behave like you're meant to be there.

Dress well, smell nice and make conversation with people.

If you chat up girls they'll notice your confidence.

Don't get drunk. Seriously be careful here. You can carry around a drink, so you don't look out of place.

Try to talk to everybody, sure, but... figure out who the VIPs are, and approach them (the host, the hosts family and friends, the alpha of the group, the unique people, the good looking girls, the social guy with all the connections, the important people).

When I was in high school, I was invited to a lot of parties. Honestly, just be charismatic and outgoing. Be funny and talk to people. Be aware of the tone and atmosphere of the party and your plate. Someone offers you a drink? Take it and say thanks. No one will be mad if you nurse that drink for the rest of the night.

Come Monday, when you're back in class and people are talking about the party last weekend, you want to be someone that was involved in the fun and interesting things that happened. The key thing here is don't be that idiot in those stories
