I'm liberal on pretty much every issue but this one and I'm a bit lax on gun laws I guess. But no, i don't think the larger community is primarily receptive of liberal politics.

I don't think that this community is conservative, but that the liberal side of the political spectrum is a bit heavier on the ideas that we fight against. These are things that can be changed.

Just to be clear, I can only speak for the United States. I would also like to keep overarching political discussions like Democrat vs. Republican out of this board b/c I don't think it has a place. That said, if climate change is your big deciding issue, than I can not fault you for voting for the candidate that agrees with you on that topic.

Just because you are liberal doesn't mean you have to support Hillary Clinton. That woman doesn't have the slightest bit of integrity, so how can you sit there and say she'll do something about climate change?

I think many people on this subreddit might be liberal in general. As is most of Reddit. The thing is some issues, like MRA, are more conservative sided issues. You can agree with sides from both sides of politics. I think that MRA is an important issue for me, even though that's typically a Republican issue. I agree with you on global warming, even though that's a liberal issue. The thing is, this sub only concentrates on one issue, and that is MRA. Therefore it seems like we lean more conservative because we only look at one issue.

As far as Hillary is concerned. I'd never vote for her ever. She is not a big supporter of men's rights, and also, I personally don't trust her on any other issues as well. How can she be against wars if she voted in favor of one? How can she be against global warming if she takes money from fracking? How can she be against the one percent, and the banks, if she's taking money from the banks trying to become the top 1% in the top 1%? How can I trust someone who has been proven put our national security at risk?

Climate change will kill a lot of people. But not because of warming due to anthropologically created CO2, but because we are coming into another mini ice age such as that experienced during the maunder minimum.
