I wonder what it's like for society to want to save and protect me in case of war or danger instead of wanting to send me to die and try to kill others.

What an amazing feeling that must be. I guess I had it when I was a baby, but I don't remember and I still knew society planned to prepare me for dying and killing.

It's funny, I thought of this just earlier today because of another news article I stumbled upon.

Why is it that a massacre, an accident, disaster i.e. is automatically worse if there are women and children among the victims? Seriously, WHY?!?

I have never, ever heard a man (or an organisation of men) complain about this and claiming it to make it seem like men are worth less. But imagine it the other way around... with women being the "oh well...." victims. Shit storm would rise!

I'm not sure this headline is that terrible, to be honest. Hear me out. In any conflict, it's just expected that the majority of casualties are going to be men. It goes without saying. That they killed women and children who are by nature much less of a physical threat instead of just taking them, really sends a powerful message. I get it, and I'm not so sure this example is necessarily an MR issue or truly biased/discriminatory.
