Feels like they are going after the Marines for being the only branch to research/challenge the drive for women in combat.

Kind of insidious too, because almost all of the navy jobs (and ranks, such as Seaman) have "man" not as a separate word.

As long as the new names aren't "seawoman" or "midshipwoman" for everyone, this is a non-issue for men's rights, and frankly a good thing. It costs us nothing to accept that some women do the job, and to use a name reflecting that it isn't all about us.

This is a non issue. It's a bloody name. They're stupid for caring so much about it, let us not be stupid and ignore this zero importance issue.
