Unfortunately there are no penalties against women who cheat. They are also overwhelmingly the ones who abandon their marriages.

At first I thought he should kick the hoe out but then I'm confused whether he should file for divorce or wait till children are 18+ yrs while he himself fucks around ?

What do you guys think ?

[–]Alkomb 11 points12 points13 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

The woman will file the divorce, & take everything.:\

[–]pfthewall 4 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I wouldn't be surprised if that was her plan all along. That's why I have no plans to ever get married.

[–]Alkomb 4 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Yeah.:c

It's not a bad thing to never get married. At least not for me. Being single, I have freedom to do what I want. I have a lot more disposable income. I could also pack my bags and be halfway around the world in a matter of hours with no one to answer to.

If I am ever somehow convinced to get married (please don't let it happen to me) I would not do anything unless I had a damn good lawyer draw up a pre-nup. That's probably my best advice to men who are determined to get married. Never get married without a pre-nup first. If she fights hard against it, then it's a big red flag that she may have ulterior motives to getting married, and you should seriously reconsider if marrying her is a wise thing to do.

Yep.

Someone down-voted you?:\

Sorry man, that was the case in the pre-no-fault era. Under current no-fault divorce rules in most jurisdictions adultery has no effect on outcomes unless it can be proven that said act(s) physicaly endangered the kids. There was the not so recent case of a US mom who used to leave her baby strapped to the child seat in her car in the motel parking lot while she was inside the motel doing the horizontal tango with her lover. Cases like that are the only times when they have an effect. But its more about fitness for custody than about the adultery itself.

In a small minority of Southern US states, adultery can still disqualify a divorcee from alimony. At least in NC that is still the law.

[–]RfrankieR 4 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There's so much wrong with no-fault divorces. The wives can do whatever they want & face no consequences what-so-ever. Whatever stigma there was has been long gone & there's lots of govt. assistance provided to single moms.

Fuck it don't get married & protect yourselves at all times.

[–]vicious_armbar 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Even then they aren't punishing the wife, but providing relief to the husband. I don't consider not getting even more money, when they shouldn't be getting anyway to be a punishment.

[–]ScratchCat44 23 points24 points25 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

What a pathetic excuse for a human being. The fucked up thing is, she would feel as thought she was in the right doing what she did because western culture encourages women to view themselves as victims.

[–]HoundDogs 3 points4 points5 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

She is a victim of her own stupidity.

[–]xynomaster 9 points10 points11 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

On letting Jessica free, the judge said: ‘I do so with some reluctance and it is really by the skin of your teeth.’

How is it that every woman who does anything wrong ever, whether it be crying rape or committing rape, walks free "by the skin of their teeth"? If it's always such a close call, why do they never end up swinging the other way?

Also, this article is a year old.

[–]Nonanal[S] 8 points9 points10 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Pussy pass.

[–][deleted] -4 points-3 points-2 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Wouldn't mind if she died.

[–]Alkomb -1 points0 points1 point 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why'd you/he get down-voted? Do people want liars like her to be alive? (Sorry.:x)

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 10 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Well lucky our legal system requires evidence to pursue these kinds allegations, otherwise there would be a risk of innocent people going to jail.

Oh wait, that's not our legal system, I was thinking about an Ancient Greek book on democracy.

[–]redditorriot 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Fucking unbelievable.

Also 2 year old case.

[–]random60 3 points4 points5 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

women who make false accusations of rape should get the same punishment as a man would get if he would rape a woman

[–]Alkomb 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link

"#PussyPass"?:o

But, why do so many women claim "Rape", though? & all of the judges/courts still believe them, though? Sad.

[+]Zoidbergluver -13 points-12 points-11 points 10 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

To be fair, a lot of women are actually raped. Way more women are actually raped than claim to be raped, so it makes sense that courts believe them

Considering the epidemic of false rape allegations, how do we know this is true?

Emily Sulkowicz states she was raped, it doesn't make it true.

[–]Alkomb 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

Well. They just need the woman's word, & that's all, though.

[–]Zoidbergluver -5 points-4 points-3 points 10 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

Did you read the article? They didn't believe her. They investigated as is their job and easily figured out about the affair from texts on her phone. She was given a suspended prison sentence.

[–]Alkomb 6 points7 points8 points 10 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Nah, I mean. They believe every-other female. Sorry.

[+]Zoidbergluver -6 points-5 points-4 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I mean.. Obviously not.. And clearly not in this case as the article stated. They need proof to put someone in jail, thats how the justice system works. Are you referring to anything specifically? Could you give me some sort of source that shows cops believe possible rape victims more than the perpetrator?

[–]Nonanal[S] 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Dont you grasp that the only thing they need to put a male in jail is the word of a woman, sometimes less. The only reason it didnt happen in this case is that the woman made a very basic mistake that eliminated her statement as evidence. If her statement had stood, and not been disproven, then her statement by itself would be enough to jail any male she named as the rapist without any other evidence other than that the male hadnt proven his innocence by say disproving her statement. It didnt get to that stage THIS time but it could have easily and has been in the past thousands of times, a womans statement, put a man in jail.

Sometimes it doesnt even take that. See the case of Bayden Clay in Australia. The fact that his wife attacked him tried to scratch his eyes out is the SOLE evidence against him, yet he has been convicted of murder and put away for life. No other evidence at all. No murder weapon. No cause of death. The woman was depressed and suicidal because the man was leaving her. Zero connection between the husband and the wifes death. Its almost certain to ojective observers she killed herself by jumping off the bridge while her husband was sleeping at home, yet the husband loses everything on the basis of less evidence than a womans word.

Yes its true the sentence and conviction was appealed and overturned, but then there was a big kickup by feminists and they have now appealed his appeal and its going before the courts a third fucking time because feminists are determined to punish this man for his wifes suicide. Its disgusting and biased and makes me feel ill how little my life is worth as a male to my society.

Seems like a lot more go free. Hell, they murder people and walk away Scott free. It is a statistical fact that women receive lighter sentences.

[–]Alkomb 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The 21-year-old woman getting just a $500 fine for hitting, & killing a guy on a motorcycle. While texting. Yep.:\

[–]probpoopin 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

And she will be rewarded in divorce. Most states are no fault. This guy will be paying this vile human for a long, long time. Cheating and lying to everyone doesn't matter in splitting assets in divorce. She will still get alimony, and child support if she decides to take the kids as well. Again, cheating doesn't bar you from custody in any way, shape, or form. Because she was let go on this, it will have no bearing during a divorce trial because there was no conviction. Essentially, she will profit from doing this. But you know, patriarchy or something...

[–]Zoidbergluver -1 points0 points1 point 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

She was given a suspend prison sentence. That will go on record. You're right, her cheating doesn't affect the alimony but her record will affect the custodial arrangements.

[–]Nonanal[S] 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Lets hope so. Since she wasnt given a conviction I doubt it though.

[–]probpoopin 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Most likely not. The next step is to make false allegations of abuse, which will completely redeem all of her actions. I did this, because he did that. Then, tada! No more custody problems. I was in a relationship with a person like this. She is addicted to pills, 2 domestic violence charges, a Dui, and other related assault charges from fighting other people. I have never been so much as charged with a crime in my life. She made one false accusation, with zero evidence, a rap of her own, and was given full custody no questions. Now I take DV classes, without having been charged with any crime. You are dillusional if you think our family courts give a shit. I've seen it first hand and don't need to argue about what happens next, I already know. The same thing that always happens.
