Can we make half of them gay too? I feel like we're not being fair if we don't have 50% gay cabinet members. Also, I think at least 50% of them should be left handed, it's so easy to unknowingly add right-bias to law if you don't have equal representation of southpaws.

Should be noted that while I don't take any issue with having the cabinet half women, or even entirely women, I do take issue with having members of the cabinet appointment because of their gender as opposed to their qualifications.

It's funny, because if you did the same thing in any job that has an objective measure of success, you'd immediately see the negative results.

First example that comes to mind is competitive gaming, because it gives no physical advantage to males, yet invariably, there are very rarely any female players who come close to pro-level.

Imagine if an SC2 (or LoL or Chess even) tournament had the 16 best females and 16 best males compete. The top 16 spots would be 100% male.

It's not that women aren't capable of reaching the same level of skill as men, it's that they aren't necessarily inclined to do so. That applies to managing a nation as much as it applies to anything else. If you have to force your cabinet to be 50% women, instead of just finding the most qualified people and noticing after the fact that about 50% are female, then clearly women aren't as competitive in that field.

The aim should be for 100% qualified individuals...I don't care if they are 100% female so long as they got the job because they are the most qualified individuals.
