Feminists used to ROUTINELY state that one of feminisms main goals was 'deconstructing' the family. Another was 'deconstructing' society itself, which depended upon the demolishment of familial binds first. Around the 1990s, when the effects began to show in society, feminists stopped saying such things. Incidentally, around that time there was a push to 'modernize' textbooks of all kinds. You would be amazed at some of the things 'modernized' out of the historical knowledge base at that time.

This is perhaps a little more fringe than the norm here, having browsed this sub for over a year - it may resonate with some of you however, or at least create some good discussion.

Most left-wing social justice movements are about tearing down society/culture by stigmatizing the normal and normalizing the abnormal.

I think that's a reasonable guess. Taking down men is probably part of a larger agenda to take down the family.

Women can depend entirely on the government in a communist state, and would then be able to depend entirely on men after the state collapses. Men don't get that, so they have less desire for such a situation.

Not all feminists think this way though.

I just threw up a little. This man has no clue what he is talking about. The goal of communism is and always was to place industry in the hands of the workers. Destroying industry is antithetical to that goal. The goal was to educate all workers, destroying education is antithetical to that goal. To grant all workers a decent standard of living Via division of labor, at work and at home. Destroying the family is antithetical to that goal.

When people understand that feminism is a reaction against the emancipated laboring class, this conversation will begin to be coherent.
