For quite a while now the 'Miss America Pageant' has been receiving criticism for being demeaning to women. For the objectification of women.

Now sure, a lot of it is looks, with the bathing suit contest, evening dress contest I believe it's called. Still, half of it is the women's personality. What school they went to. Their hobbies and talents. Their interests and charity work.

But look at the men's side of pageantry. The Mr. Universe contest. They don't give a crap about the guys personality. It is purely aesthetic. Imagine if they had a similar worldwide competition like that for women?

Where they would take women from all over the world and rate them solely on appearance. Everybody would be up in arms. As it is now people are offended that women in Miss America put stuff on their teeth to keep a smile, that they tape their boobs together to look perky. Yet nobody seems to care that tons of men are injecting their bodies full of dangerous steroids. I mean enough steroids to dose livestock.

Just something I was thinking about.
