Feminism as we all know is not about equality. Feminism is about male hate and control and trying to get the best deal for one gender. Have all the rewards but none of the responsibility. Have a career and if you get divorced take the house and kids as well. If he objects make up a false allegation of abuse that is unaffordable or impossible to fight.

Cannot get a husband, no worries! Go out with a kid from college and if he does not marry you get him kicked out of college on a false allegation. That will give the female students some leaverage. The democrats are introducing more laws to facilitate the control of men.

Just watch. "Yes means Yes" will be rolled out to the population at large soon as is happening in the UK.

You can basically assume by default that the inhabitants of /r/feminism are offended and angry by the prospect of any expression which is not a simple recitation of their ideology and worldview back at them. They are fairly totalitarian in character and when they see what happens when they get outside the hermetically sealed culture bubble of feminism they get upset, and resort to their standard tactics which are shaming and playing the victim card.

So reddit and the rest of the world is growing with misogyny. Well feminists, what do you expect when you tell the world everyone is either a feminist or a bigot. What do you expect when you tell all men they are rapists. What do you expect when you tell non-feminist women they are idiots. People are tired of being told they have to be a feminist or else shame shame shame. The noble feminist will ignore this post and continue to help other women, perhaps even men, without demanding feminist allegiance. The narcissist feminist will copy this and blog about the growing misogyny. Footnote - feminists proudly barking the "I bathe in male tears" slogan, it doesn't mean what you think it means.

Interestingly both groups believe themselves to be in the minority. OP insinuates that because searching feminism on youtube turns up some anti-fem results, that MRAs are the majority. Whilst many MRAs here feel that they are in the minority. Both groups will insist that they hold the underdog card as they push their beliefs.

A feminist went and complained about hair streaks on Asian characters (yes, really) and a film character she perceived as racist. I provided a counter argument and a film student who knew the filmmaker's body of work agreed with me. Then on facebook I saw an obvious reference to the class calling people ignorant of Asian feminist issues (I'm Asian and so was the film student) with like 35 likes. So who was the real underdog? Well there were 2 of us who thought she was crazy, but 35 people who agreed with her. But she sure felt threatened when someone dared disagree. We must have represented the patriarchal dick-waving rape culture internalized misogyny society. I felt kind of butthurt too, if I'm being honest. Like, the feminist club is a thing, Mattress girl visited my school with a ton of disgusting fanfare; I don't feel like people are listening to my concerns.

Seriously though, we need some way to quantify this with data so everyone can stop trying to hold moral ground and instead focus on the issues.

You are all, I would hope familiar with a motte and bailey doctrine. I offer this parrable from sun tzu (cannot find it, hurrey phone).
