Feminists want women to be paid more than men. They want women to be more educated than men. They want women's health care to be better than men's. They want mothers to be given custody of the children in family disputes and they also want women to receive double what men receive in social and housing payments.

It is legitimate that welfare cuts would hit women the hardest, as women with children are the greatest dependents on welfare programs, by all accounts.

I think that standing up for men doesn't require attacking impoverished people of any gender, and I don't think that standing up for men requires attacking impoverished women and children.

For myself, as a man, a society that I want is a society wherein the government's resources will insure that poverty is not too great, and that is a gender blind thing, and I think poverty is one of the worst things to inflict on children as well.

Government austerity is bad for all of us.

Yeah, saw a story about this. A woman complaining that if her benefits get cut to 20K a year then she will be homeless. She has eight children. Most common responses are " Children aren't a money ticket" and " If you can't afford them, dont have them".

my concern is less about the impact this will have on women and more the impact the cuts are having on the disabled and the children in this country.
