In a lot of cases, I can’t say I blame them. I may not like their misogyny, but I can understand the sentiment.

Men decide women aren't worth the trouble, this means they are misogynists.... ok then.

But we have daughters, daughters who show every promise of someday being a good man’s dream wife – if there are any good men left who are willing to risk marriage at all.

More shaming language. Although the author doesn't blame men for looking at the stats and not wanting to get married, she doesn't really look at the other side of the equation: women today.

It's easier to blame the men than be self reflective and see why men are reacting to the lack of incentives in the dating/marriage market. If a guy gets married, he has a high change to get screwed over in a divorce, if he doesn't he's a misogynist with Peter Pan syndrome and should man up.

Men are simply simply shying away from being protectors and providers because such roles do not advantage men in any way and are frankly abusive. I'd rather play video games than be someone's walking wallet, and I suspect I'm not alone.

Much like men have to display value in order to get laid by women, women have to display value in order to get commitment from men.

So the real issue here is that women in general are not displaying enough value to get men's commitment. Why is this a problem men need to fix?

It's funny. I've seen a few "Why don't men want to be in relationships" anymore articles and when written by women they all seem to run the same way. 1. Declaration that men don't want to pair up these days.

Clearly this is because men are too immature/too addicted to porn
Halfhearted attempt to suggest that men may have some legitimate issues, usually brushed aside as bitterness or misogyny.
Author attempts to rally men into getting grown up jobs, marriage and the whole 2.4 kids thing because clearly that's best for everybody.

Conspicuous by its absence - any suggestion that women might have a part to play in fixing the problem. Or maybe that men would be more inclined to marriage-up if they thought they were going to be treated with a modicum of respect.

This one is no different except that she's actually heard of MGTOW and clearly thinks they just need a good stern talking to.

Well, that's basically the case family or no.

Victory isn’t achieved by living your life alone.

Victory is achieved based on my goals for my life, not based on YOUR moral judgments. If my goals are to live contentedly in peace and solitude, then I will achieve success when I have those things.

You don't get to tell me what I want.

I've met very, very few women that I have considered worth the risk of having a personal relationship with. Even then, I wasn't completely sure. Here's a hint: In order for me to be interested in committing to someone, they first must be worth committing to.

The "walking wallet" thing I agree to a fair extent but not as significant as most people think. I think its more about the walking "dominance". The man ALWAYS has to show something that's worth something GREAT, not good, great or excellent. Women are born as women. They are just there. They expect to be pampered, pampered more and then pampered again. NO, I'd rather buy a hooker then have to pretend your a fucking queen for one more second. Its getting worse. Now the courts rule in womens favours. Its revolting. If I feel sexually deprived I'll go to backpage and buy a condomn that's not to thin and inspect the girl. I don't have respect for women these days because they NEVER EARNED IT. They walk into a bar and expect me to do EVERYTHING and when the SLIGHTEST thing is off "your creepy, why are you talking to me?, he didn't even buy me a drink". Its way over the top. My friend told me about leaving the western world to just find a girl to love and cherish, while she does the same to him..looking at him with EQUAL VALUE. I think doing the same is my only hope of happiness. THOUGHTS?
