To which I would respond, "Ok, go ahead and lead. I'm just going to sit over here and watch all this leadership happen."

What folks fail to understand is that leadership is hard, and most folks are ignorant as to what it actually entails. But instead of accepting their ignorance, folks choose to assign false attributes on to it in the hopes of it making sense...but then never test their methods to see if they work. Hence we have this bullshit.

To wit, we are at risk of making the same mistake feminists make; by believing one's sex makes one more or less capable for leadership roles. Neither sex is particularly better suited for the task.

So yes; I would love to sit back and let folks try to lead on the belief that because they have tits or muscles, they are somehow better suited to the task.

Honestly, even if they could make men 'obsolete' in practical terms, you'd still run into the problem where we're strong, faster and braver than they are.

If they want to push men into some kind of 'final showdown', that won't exactly go well for them. It will turn their most histrionic, warped views of history or society into realities. They won't be given any rights again for a thousand years.

Women simply cannot defeat men militarily.

muscles have been obsolete in leadership for a very very long time, the greatest leaders of history and those who unify and lead men have never been the physically stongest.

women can be ferociously effective and inspiring leaders, Margaret thatcher like her or loath her was an absolutely fantastic leader of men, but she is a minority in comparison to the "pool of talent" based on gender wrt to leadership.

I love it when people think the knowledge economy makes "masculine traits redundant" they have been saying it for decades, but who have been the ones championing new technology and creating new digital services and that economy (its men)

So, us men, or rather our muscles, have been obsoleted by technology. I think there's some truth to that. What will obsolete women, though, is not data processing technology, but the perfection of the auto-womb. It can't be that far off now; it's been done for animals.

Leadership is given, is earned. If women seeking to lead are focussed strictly on the problems of women and children, no leadership will accrue to them, eventually.
