Even better... In France there was an effort to mandate that private companies have a % of their boards be female. As in fuck being free to run your business as you want, or what is in it's best interest, you have to have this woman be on your board even though there were better candidates.

Although women should be equally considered for a position the truth is that what matters is the qualifications of the person applying for the job . Germany has been a very progressive country lately but they have gone full retard with progressiveness and now are disproportionally representing the level of one qualifications.

30% of combat troops should be women. So should 30% of garbage collectors and construction workers. So should 30% of merchant marines, who often have to spend months at sea with little notice. So should oil rig workers, who get paid a lot, but again have to spend months away from home.

I read that roughly 20% of these boards are women, and that only 108 companies are involved. I'm not sure if all of this is true, but let's pretend for a second.

Assuming 20% of the people on these boards are already women, and there's 10-30 people per company, this would put an additional 100-900 women in a prestigious job, out of a society with tens of millions of people. This would also make everyone think that every woman on these boards got there through a quota, thus hurting the rest of the women who are already there. I sure as shit wouldn't trust a woman in my line of work if there was a quota system implemented to get more women on board. Don't like it? Don't implement quota's and affirmative action. It's not my fucking problem, it's yours.

But my main point is that like always, feminism isn't there for the masses. Like in the US. We hear feminist complain about the number of women in STEM, or the number of female politicians, or the number of female CEO's. But none of that affects the average woman. The feminazis complaining about women in STEM never majored in STEM themselves, why not? As for the female CEO's, and politicians, it's all bullshit. I think the average woman would benefit more from getting 2-3 months of mandatory paid maternity leave than having an extra 200 female CEO's and politicians. After all, the US has a population of roughly 320 million. 400 extra jobs are a drop in the bucket and no woman is going to feel that change.

Again a law to cater to the female voter. In the end not even 100 women will profit from this new law and the women whom will be put in position will probably be in the hand of some other boardmember(s) whom put them there.

Before this blows completely out of proportion. When a different article with the same information was posted over on 2X, all but one poster (who was downvoted to hell) agreed how stupid the idea was. Extremists get elected all of the time, but they generally don't represent the views of the majority of people in office, or even the people who voted for them.
