Yeah, a subject pool of 30 and some very superficial observations does not science make. Don't get me wrong i think it's grounds for a more detailed study. But i can't help but suspect the headline is more sensation then sensibility.

More premature reporting on a tiny little scrap of science. All this proves is men's physiological responses were stronger. It could mean that they had a stronger overall emotional response, or it could mean that men experience emotion more physically.

I dont think its that far off from reality, allthough I question 1)the sample size, and 2) the fact that the video men most seemed to respond to was abou a father reuniting with his daughter after the war. Of course men are going to respoond to that even more than women.Had they shown a woman reuniting with her daughter to the women, results probably would have been different.

I'm pretty sure this has been done before with the same results. Hook everyone up to biometric gadgets and men do seem to feel things more strongly than women. I also seem to recall that female bodybuilders on steroids report an increase in emotional intensity, not just sex drive. Another reason for the plutocratic-feminist alliance to keep the men down.

I know the sample size is ridiculously small but you know, I wouldn't be surprised if this was close to the truth; think about how common it is to praise and reward women -- mothers in particular -- in the media compared to men. While women are constantly lionised, men are always portrayed as bumbling fools. Being presented with gratitude is probably a big deal because so few men are used to receiving it, at least frequently.

I want to see results after watching the commercial with the deaf, Asian father giving his daughter blood after she attempts suicide.

Just thinking of that video gets me emotional.
