is bullshit. John Lennon was wrong.

This is what we hear from women about relationships:

All you need is love. If you're in a relationship, you don't owe your significant other anything. They don't owe you anything. You do things for your significant other because you love them. They do things for you because they love you.

Bullshit. Relationships create obligations, duties, rights, and privileges. You do things in relationships not only for love, but because you made promises and took vows. You do things in relationships because they need to get done so you can have a better life.

This is a huge reason why relationships don't work now - because no one has any sense of responsibility or duty. And men, at least, don't assert their rights and privileges.

If no one gets any rights or privileges from a relationship, there's no reason to get into one. If duty and obligation mean nothing, there's no reason to get into a relationship. If that relationship will end based on a woman's feelings; if that relationship's continuation is premised only on the whims and emotions of a woman; if a man getting anything in a relationship is based on how a woman feels that day...

There's no reason to get into a relationship.

Love is not enough for relationships. It's necessary, but not sufficient. Relationships just don't work this way in the real world. And if any of these stupid women posting here understood that, they wouldn't write their stupid shit that "you do things for him because you love him but you don't owe him anything in a relationship". (Yeah - this from the same women who demand a man's money in perpetuity and his sexual fidelity - women deem themselves entitled to his money and to stranglehold control his sexuality, but she won't give him anything... but I digress.)

Hey, ladies, you women who claim that "no one owes anyone anything in relationships": Let's say your man tells you this:

I don't owe you anything? Great! I can go fuck other women, and that's OK with you, right? Cuz you're not entitled to my sexual fidelity.

And I can go spend my money on anything I want. I can blow all my cash on hookers and drugs. And that's OK with you, right? Cuz you're not entitled to my financial support.

And I can go anywhere I want. I can do anything I want. And that's OK with you, right? Cuz you're not entitled to an accounting of where I go or what I do.

And hey. I love you! Cuz love is enough, right? All we need is love, right?

Are you ladies copacetic with that? You OK with that? That sit well with you?

Anyone who knows anything about relationships knows love isn't enough.
