How much would you guys agree with the statement that not being neurotypical knocks 1-2 points off you smv? Especially if you are average in looks.

I feel like personally if I were into a woman, I don't think a little bit of neurodiversity would be a dealbreaker, so part of me wonders if it's actually true. I'd hope that if someone were high functioning, they'd be fine.

However, part of me also thinks women are actively looking for a reason to say no to a guy so it would seem like a redflag if she knew you were not neurotypical compared to another guy who looks the same or better then why wouldn't she prefer him which means you probably would be a point lower and the worse your condition is the lower you end up

As well as I wouldn't expect it to be as simple as just dating someone with a similar condition so that they're less likely to see you as lower value

It might not be as bad now because looks and physical appearance are paramount now. Looks are more important for men and women than they have ever been probably in history. Looks have never been more important in my lifetime, that's for sure.

1 is being generous. It knocks off at least 2. 3 if you're also introverted on top of being autistic. And then if you're somewhat low functioning but not straight up retarded it's a 4 point penalty.

I would largely degree depending on the type of issue and how it presents itself. Some of them won't hit that hard or at all. Mostly yes. I don't think this is the biggest issue, I think the harder part is how badly it can influence the ability to maintain and flourish in a relationship. Getting one will largely not be the hardest part for most neuro-atypicals.

I think it depends on the kind of woman you're trying to attract. If we're talking about the stereotypical "hot chick" extraverted etc, then, yes, I'd guess it'd knock a lot of points off.

But there are introverted women (and not just women on the spectrum), there's plenty of neurotypical women who find the brash extraversion and hyperconfidence of some dudes thoroughly unattractive.
