I worked at a grocery store when I was in high school and college and worked with a good looking guy there, here are the "red flags" that this guy had that so many women had no problem with.

Arrested for multiple DUIs (Could have killed or injured someone)

Arrested for shooting a gun off in his backyard and damaging neighbor's property (Again could have killed or injured someone)

Was flirting and saying sexual things with teenage girls

31 years old and still lived with his mother

Bad body odor

Only worked there part time with no other job and would call off or just not come in at least once a week.

No car and didn't drive (DUIs)

Dumb as a rock, talked and laughed like Butthead from Beavis and Butthead (Cartoon from the 90's)

There were some women there that didn't want anything to do with him but all you heard from the majority was how hot he was. And he hooked up with a ton of women from 18 years old to a few women in their 40's.

That was my introduction to the blackpill and just didn't know it (this was the 90's long before Reddit, Tinder and social media)

He was finally fired because he was about to get another suspension because of all the absences, so he told the store manager to go fuck himself

And I don't live in the south where stuff like this might be more common. This is the suburbs of a major northern city.

I've gotta say, I think this case is very different from others because it was indeed an accident. He's still responsible for that accident, because he was doing something dangerous. But it's not the sort of circumstance where it makes him a bad person.

The thing is, lots of young people do reckless things for fun sometimes. Most are just luckier. A lot of people are going to be sympathetic to him because they know it could have been them, once upon a time.

Philosophically, not legally, speaking, what exactly is the point of keeping him in prison for 24 years? He's not a career criminal who needs to be "reformed." We're not teaching him to be a better citizen. We're actually making him a significantly less productive member of society, because he'll emerge and ex-con missing decades of work and social experience. His punishment is largely just symbolic--a warning to deter other young men. And even if you agree that it's 100% necessary, that sucks for him.

Give it a few years. Few years in the can and he'll have his twink death. Once that wide-eyed fuck puts on weight and starts to look like shit nobody will be trying to bail his ass out.
