.aybe it's my luck with women, but I've yet to live with one who does as much help house work as me. I like a well kept home, not perfect. And end up doing most if not all of it. Part of the reason I don't plan on ever having gf live with me, or anyone for that matter

There's been a lot of great comments on this but the only time this really happens is when the woman got married or had children quite Young and then all of a sudden in her mid thirties she wants to start her 'career' which is usually some Ponzi scheme multi-level marketing thing with candles or makeup or real estate when they've never done any sales and have no network. But I digress.

So yeah she's taking on the husband to help her through the having of the children and she is going to be encumbered by that while he is still running his race... But now she's going to complain about it because she can't catch up. Ugh. Choices in and of themselves are sacrifices. Every single choice you are presented with and make means that if that instant you are also sacrificing something else.

And of course there are consequences for the woman who stayed single and delayed having children to build her career... No she's got to compete on the sexual market value with younger prettier women meanwhile she's got a more significant time crunch to at minimum get pregnant. But they also want to get married at that time too because they need (want) to take time off to not just have the children but raise them until they start going to primary School.

And then they complained that they've set aside their career for 7 to 10 years and couldn't just open the door back up again and jump back on where they left off. This happens to everybody!
