Yeah, a lot of feminists have just been using the situation in Afghanistan to their advantage. All they’ve been doing it comparing the situation to how it is for women in the West (which is complete bullshit). Granted I can’t read the entire internet, I have yet to see feminists actually do anything useful for the people in Afghanistan

They don't care are "women issues" they aren't willing to travel to Afghanistan and fight for women's issues. Nah. They care about "THEIR issues" and no one else's. They're over hear complaining about the ability to selling booty hole pics on onlyfans while women across the ocean are getting killed, Gr@ped and pillaged.

Not a single one of them will arm themselves and volunteer to go over there and fight for other women. Women won't fight for other women. Things don't get done unless men do it. Women's rights dont exist unless men fight to earn those rights for them. If anyone wants those women overseas to have a good life and wellbeing, men are going to be the ones fighting for it, not women.

In all fairness, I think we should stop this narrative. Everybody keeps talking about how bad it will be for women now that the talibans took over, as if there are no men in that country. It will be bad for men too. Of course, some of them will benefit from the regime change. And I am certain some women will benefit too. But the majority of people - women AND men - will suffer, as it always happens under totalitarian regimes.

On a different note, I keep wondering why Afghanistan had a girls only robotics team and nobody says anything about a boys only team. Or, at least, a mixed team. I suppose that was freedom and democracy for them.

Realistically what can an American feminist do to help Afghan women?

Do you think the Taliban would give a shit about a US march?

Or a petition?

Anything short of military intervention to actually stop them is going to be laughable, so I don't really blame them for not doing much because there's not much they realistically can do.

It's like if how I don't like what China is doing to the Uighurs but it's hardly like me and the lads can rock on down to the camps and liberate them 1945 style, we wouldn't make it past the border.

Like they or you give a fuck. US destroyed and played havoc with Afghanistan twice and brought chaos to an already broken people. The US then worked with anyone that wanted to work with them. Drug dealers and warlords who played with young little boys while the higher up in the US army protected them.
