It seems like anytime I give an inch she takes a mile.

I draw boundaries because of how painful the rejection is sometimes.

But as soon as I give ANY good will towards the situation it seems like she thinks it’s permissible to overstep.

For example, I took my son to an event and she asked for pictures.

I sent her pictures, which was a big step for me….

Now she is texting more, yes technically about the kids, but it’s much more now like we are friends.

Last night she brought something to my house for the boys and proceeded to hang out on my porch for a while with them…..

It just feels like I can’t win.

She has told me she wants nothing to do with me as far as a relationship but it feels like she wants to take advantage of my love for my kids to keep me doing things that are convenient for her.

She’s so damn self centered it’s insane.
