So my wife is dead set on M-F and I would like 50-50. Believe she is open to Monday - Friday morning during the majority of the school year but may be a little flexible on a day here and there. I am trying not take this through a long drawn out court battle that number 1, I don’t want this to drag out and effect our kids, 2 I want our kids to see each parent equal or as equal as it can be, 3 I don’t want either of us to waste thousands of dollars on attorneys battling back and forth. She makes 4x the amount of money I do.I don’t live in a 50/50 state (Texas) and don’t want to be stuck seeing my kids every other weekend like a lot of fathers in this state get stuck with. Is there some sort of creative schedule we could use to make this work? She is open to me picking up our kids from school and her picking them up later(because her demanding career doesn’t allow it) How can we make this work. This is literally the only sticking point we have in all this and want to settle it before it gets nasty. Our kids are 2 and 5x Any creative schedules you all can think of? Suggestions?
