Brother, divorce is brutal enough with support....doing it in a state where you don't speak the language fluently, have no family or friends, and don't know the system is survival mode on expert difficulty, so your immediate priorities are: find an attorney who speaks your language or uses a translator (don't navigate legal documents you can't fully understand), connect with immigrant/cultural community groups for support and resources, document everything in writing to minimize language barriers in court, and if immigration status is involved understand how divorce affects it immediately because that's critical.

NGL brother, it is difficult. But you’ll get through it. I went though it in fall 2024, the hardest year of my life. 2025 was the best year of my life.

My simple advice, if you don’t have a lot of friends or family. Invest in some hobbies.

I started learning guitar. I go bowling by myself after work every Monday. I’ve gone on solo hikes. Gone to concerts and sporting events on my own.

Learning how to be happy on my own might have been what cured my heartache the most. I learned I didn’t need that wench to be happy!

Even with a great support system it still hurts. You may want to look into a local church or support group. Definitely don't do it alone if you can help it.

Hey man its REALLY REALLY hard even in a country where you have some family / friends, atleast for me.
