People move out for two reasons; to find themselves without you, or they have found someone else who is not you. Both reasons are inherently selfish. Personally I'd do what I want and start getting used to her questioning your decision as she moves on with her life. If she wants to make joint decisions or have an opinion bring her ass back home.

Personally until the court says I owe her something; my money is none of her business. After the court says how much I have to pay she will not receive penny more. My wife knows this that's probably why we are still married. She saw what my State's child support calculator said; then she realized she probably wouldn't be getting spousal support she's been very loving ever since. I didn't even have to mention that she comes of my healthcare as soon as the divorce is finalized. Now in my case there was no adultery involved; she took offense to the budget I put her on after paying off a thirty grand credit card in my name.

Try to see it like this:

The bike will make you happy and anything that instill happiness in you, will make you a more joyful person to be around, therefore it's essentially an investment in yourself.

Buy the bike, it's productive.
