My wife filed for divorce after nearly 10 years together (5 married). Dealing with stage 4 cancer these last 3 years has been tough, we have great insurance so the medical debt has not been unmanageable.

My question about debt is now that my wife's attorneys have filed a petition with the court for divorce do any purchases that either of us make from this point forward count as individual or is it still marital debt?

I'm concerned that she's making large purchases to decrease the amount of cash in her account
