I was going through emails and accounts for my attorney and came across the orders for my removal from the house a year ago. They were served along with the divorce papers at sheriffs office and all that was asked of me was to sign saying I received papers and was shown paper letting me know I needed to get personal belongings and clothes within a few hours. I called my ex to be and she said that the “eviction “ will keep things civil and I also called her attorney and was told same. My head was already spinning and foggy so I signed.

Happened almost exactly a year ago today and never noticed…..Ex Parte rule Nisi….. I live in Georgia and googled this. Lots of different variations of why/how one can remove a spouse from residence. Does anyone know of this magical Latin terminology? Thx
