It’s been one year since the divorce decree was signed, a very anti-climactic event but one I will always view as the beginning of a better life. Separation started 9 months before that. There has been and still is a lot of struggle, but way more good days than bad at this point. To those just starting the journey, learn stoicism and stay the course for your kids. You must determine your own path forward, and you CAN do it.
