Just make sure that when you have your kids you don’t take the new one. She may try and get you to take it, using phrases like “it’s your kids sibling” or how much she needs a break. Her baby, her problem. Ive seen women try this many times, NEVER accept it.

I would honestly be happy for my ex if she got pregnant. We tried IVF three times, and it didn’t take. She’s 44, so her window is small, but if it’s still a dream of hers, I hope it happens. I just pity the poor sap that has to live with her. 😄

It was a few years ago I was at work at my exwife texted me “I’m getting married.” I laughed so hard I almost blew hot coffee out of my nose.

Three weeks later they got married. Six months later? He left her.

I had a wonderful experience 3 years ago of discovering my (ex)wife was pregnant less than a month after D-day. A thoroughly wonderful night of putting my step son to bed and sleep, as he sobbed away (he knew something was not right in his world) and then 5 minutes after I got him to sleep his mum rocks up and I'm comforting and hugging her as she breaks down. Character building moment I like to call it. It was very much great practice for my new boundaries and grey rock approach to her.

Good work on your reaction to it, it's one of those top 5 things that can destroy your recovery process and open up a can of worms emotionally. Very much a, not my monkey not my circus feeling. As you have a little chuckle and then worry about your children and how it will affect them.
