So my new partner is having to deal with harassment from my ex. I badly want to get a protective order but it is not in my budget.

I have never given my new partners name but somehow my ex found out who she was.

She has back ground checked her She has contacted her family by email and phone She told my kids she is a looser, cheater, and a bad mother She has harassed us at a public events including yelling across the street at us and making visual gestures.

And most recently she has now contacted my partners work email through a woman’s professional organization that her employment Sponcer’s.

So I have had enough and with this last contact I’m wondering if I should get her HR department and the organization involved.

What would you do? How far should I take it?
