My STBXW has repeatedly stated since last July she wants a divorce. I was completely devastated and begged her to reconsider but to no avail. We own a house and have two children 10 and 14. She still wants to build an ADU on the property and convert the basement where I’m living into a rental unit as well when I move. She makes significantly more than me and wants to stay in the house with the kids while I pay a mortgage and a rent for a shitty apartment which the rental units would offset. I don’t want to continue any kind of partnership with her. Thoughts?
