So. I moved out of my residence and into an apartment. How do I move back into the residence?

Some posts here say that I need to move back in. Otherwise, it'll look like abandonment. But, she assaulted me back in May, I thought for the child's wellbeing and didn't want child to see Mom get taken away. I didn't press charges, I know I know. I know I should have. I'm seeing the repercussions of it. Child hits, pinches, and pushes me very often.

However, I'm trying to win this. How do I get back in the residence? Should I? Or, should I trust my lawyer because it's safer to stay out of the residence? What's the better option?
