I don't know of any checklists, but I know I've got my eyes on the coffee maker and you can bet your ass I'm taking some cleaning supplies and half the wash cloths.

I almost lost a treasured set of antique ornaments that had been in my family for three generations- she didn't understand how important they were. If I hadn't sequestered them, I just know there'd be a fight during the settlement negotiations because she went after everything else that had value like that.

For me, I went room by room and inventoried every single thing in there that was potentially of interest to either one of us. I then categorized each thing by cost/value and proposed a split of the stuff that was approximately equal. We negotiated back and forth using that inventory list and it actually worked out really well.
