I have been contemplating leaving my wife for a long time. Well a family member recently passed and this brought the worse in my wife out. Needless to say I have come to terms and have decided to leave her. We have no children together. She has a child from a previous marriage - my daughter. Her is obligated to pay child support. We do have a house, a small boat, an extra car (we each have our own). We keep separate bank accounts. The house increased in value significantly since we bought it. She can get extremely violent. I do not want to alert her to my plans of leaving as this will bring about violence. My plan is to leave in due time when I have made the appropriate arrangements. My question is will she get the house automatically because she is staying with child?
