27m and 27f got married in may of this year in Virginia…thru a very rapid process it became immediately apparent she wasn’t being faithful so I left. tried to work things out thru therapy taking whatever but again it was very apparent she was already seeing other people. Anyways I guess my question is in va you can’t get a annulment and she has told me we have to be separated for six months before we can get a uncontested divorce…should I wait and just let it go? Or should I seek legal counsel immediately.

Edit: no kids…financial was never merged….the house is in her name but we both paid half of the down payment and half the mortgage four the years before we got married.
