My advice would be to start things off on the right foot

Instead of threatening him about something that he likely would never do, you might just want to tell him that you want to have an open door policy with him and have a good relationship with him because of the kids. If he's a good man he'll be open to that.

If he's not open to that well you've learned something about him

Try to avoid animosity and threats, enhance your DGAF. He's older and probably has the money to finance your ex's future legal campaign (Captain Save'a'ho style) to reduce your parenting time and get you paying child support if you piss him off enough.

Why say anything to him at all? Tell the Ex that he is not allowed to touch, discipline, or be invited into the coparenting process. The way I see it he is there strictly for her happiness, and my daughters don't need another parent.
