Hi all, After a bit of advice as im finding setting boundaries a little tough right now as a single dad.

I would say im firm but fair in my parenting style... maybe on times a little too rigid but I try not to be. Post divorce i was lucky to have moved in to a 3 bed house, but its not huge and we dont have a lot of space.

Anyway on to the question... During the afternoon my lad and his mates roll up on their bikes and ask to sleep over, I said yes, but should have taken more time to consider, this is 100% my fault. After speaking with them a little more, their 'sleep over' turned out to be more like an all nighter. Whilst I would be absolutely cool with that normally, I had to retract my 'yes' and say no to them as they have a football game tomorrow and they cant rock up cant just rock up not having had any sleep. Its not a serious game, but for once the team have won every game so far and they have made so much progress...

Am I being unreasonable and should I just let them crack on with a sleep over ?
