My trial date in Washington state(Seattle), end of March

Background:
- STBX not in country
- Short term marriage(9months)
- I am a high earner(.5M+)
- Divorce in USA filed by STBX
- Last month(Dec) I got an order in her and my home country restraining her from continuing with Divorce in US (She was forum shopping)

My case has not made any progress, there has been no Discovery or active communication for last 8 months since I filed my reply.

My Attorney has not filed Notice of Appearance, claiming as soon as she files, there will be demand for relief from court, as STBX has lied she is jobless.
It worked out fine so far, as I things have been quiet.
This has me worried as well. If this is the right thing to do.

Questions:-
1. This is good for me or it can backfire financially, to have not filed or done anything.
2. My attorney is asking me to prepare for trial, and gather witness. But for what? She live with me only 4 months before running away with her Ex.
3. What are the chances of dismissal of Divorce in US, given she has court order restraining her from continuing with divorce.
