I am a resident of NJ and I have been married for 14 years, my wife fled the house to overseas. I am planning to move to PA and file for divorce in PA when I meet the residency requirements. From my research I found that alimony and child support laws are favorable in PA. In NJ child support continues until the child turns 23 with obligations to pay a portion of college fees

Does anyone have experience with filing divorce in PA while marital home is in NJ. When my wife moves back to the country, let's say after 6 months, will she still meet the NJ residency despite being lived abroad for that time

Appreciate any suggestions
