I feel the same way. I think the regret of not having kids falls under the general umbrella of "death of the dream you had with your ex". Try your best to stay positive. Just as your divorce was probably a surprise to you, there may be good surprises waiting for you in the future.

It is hard as letting go of ex is harder when you have kid/s and you do have to pay child support and miss a lot of their lives once divorced but on the flip side the only reason I’m alive is because of my daughter and she is the biggest thing in my life and for a long time the only bright thing in my life . Kids change you to the core ... I hope you find someone who wants kids and will want them with you

Imagine paying support for 18 years. Also all the money lost on fighting for custody. Having the court order monitored visits because your ex lies and tells the court that you're a flight risk and on drugs. Having to go through an emergency custody investigation where you pay the court to basically find that what you were telling them all along is true. That your ex and the kids' mother is batshit crazy (BPD, bipolar) Then having to go through a full blown child custody investigation that will cost you $10K and that will again result in the court finding out from a psychiatrist that what you were telling them all along is true (ex is batshit crazy) At the end of all that trouble and expense, having the court still tell you that custody remains 50/50, just like before. Having your ex write you pages and pages of crap and crazy ramblings for 3 years on talkingparents.com and having the court basically not take any of those into account. Having your ex finally do something crazy enough to warrant a restraining order and earning monitored visits. Going batshit crazy on the monitor during a monitored visit ending with me finally getting full custody from the court. Having the court order about $1K monthly support from her, when 4 years ago I had to pay $3.2K palimony. You should consider yourself lucky you didn't have kids. Move on, find a new wife, have kids with her if you want to raise kids.

Possibly. My ex just had a kid with the guy she left me for. It would have sucked balls to have my kids grow up with their kid.

You must pull your head out of your ass and the Disney world you live in. Maybe after that you’ll get a better chance.
